Senior Implementation Manager

Our CoverMyMeds team is growing rapidly and we are in search of a Senior Implementation Manager  to lead the execution of projects and help us to build an industry-leading implementation team in our Specialty space. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that fast-moving and complex projects are delivered on time and according to the client and contractual requirements. You will partner with Solutions, Product, Account Management, and Development teams at CoverMyMeds to ensure the client is satisfied with their AMP Implementation experience.  

 This role is a unique blend of account management and project management, and requires strategic thinking, creative problem solving and hands-on solution development. You’ll be stretched to solve problems that may at first seem unsolvable, develop new methodologies and processes to handle critical accounts, and quickly learn about new therapies, industries, and vendors while delivering on tight timelines.  

 You’ll work in an iterative development environment on a variety of projects for Pharma clients. These projects will involve all our verticals and many McKesson business units in a critical new and growing space for our business.

What You’ll Do:

Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees’ primary responsibilities 

  • Serve as main point of contact for client until transition to Account Management 
  • Manage overall project requirements, timeline and dependencies 
  • Serve as the lead during client user acceptance testing to ensure the solution is ready for go-live
  • Ensure program requirements per scope documents and contracts are met, and ensure all internal and client facing reporting is ready for go-live 
  • Serve as the lead during Hypercare to ensure a successful deployment and client satisfaction
  • Lead and actively participate in discussions around project and program workflows and solutions
  • Drive pricing for and completion of any Custom Integration amendments required, and ensure billing is set up in Salesforce
  • Perform basic project management administrative duties such as outlining meeting agendas, facilitating meetings, capturing notes, status reports, and tracking action items
  • Provide resolution and escalation as needed concerning project risks 
  • May include oversight of other project managers 

Key Deliverables: 

  • Successful program delivery according to schedule and scope documents 
  • Client satisfaction with the program implementation experience 
  • Meeting or exceeding client KPIs through hypercare 
  • Ensure that program is set up and ready for Operations/Account management to take over smoothly 

 About You: 

Our ideal candidate has a proven ability to lead large, complex programs to desired outcomes. Specific qualifications include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical or Healthcare Related field
  • 8+ years of experience leading project implementations 
  • Exposure to a variety of Project Management methodologies 
  • Proven success interfacing with stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations 
  • Detail oriented and highly organized 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills 
  • Works well in a team centered environment as well as the ability to work independently 
  • Experience with software development lifecycle 
  • Experience in healthcare a plus 
  • Professional training/certification a plus
