Human Resources Manager

As the Human Resources Manager at CoverMyMeds, you ensure that human resources is a solid partner for all our employees and instrumental in driving success for our business priorities.  You’ll be responsible for developing and managing programs to grow and retain world-class talent to keep CoverMyMeds the best place to build a career.  You’ll work with everyone from the technical side to the operations side with endless opportunities to take on responsibility, mentor others and continue learning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Consult our managers to support their every need, becoming the go-to resource for them on:
    • Effectively using our existing HR programs, and determining new programs we should implement
    • Evaluating performance and holding employees accountable
    • Interpreting compensation guidelines
    • Handling difficult employee situations
  • Support our existing HR programs, including:
    • A new performance review process for all employees that aligns to our fiscal year
    • Career path frameworks to support growth within a track and movement between tracks
    • Personal development plans to help employees reach their own goals
  • Create and execute training programs to help our employees become aware of our programs and learn how to use them effectively
  • Constantly partner with employees to understand their needs, customize approaches and become a highly-trusted advisor to all
  • Conduct employee-relations activities, such as conflict-resolution and exit support
  • Utilize data and analytics to ensure programs are successful and improving
  • Always be learning about our industry, human resources and leadership to keep our approaches best-in-class

About You:

  • Your experience:
    • 4-year human resources degree or equivalent experience
    • 5-7 years of experience as a human resources manager, developing and implementing human resources programs
    • Expert and up-to-date on human resources laws and compliance policies
    • Proven experience staying laser-focus on business priorities, creating solutions that make the business and employees more successful
    • Proven experience managing difficult employee situations
    • Impeccable project management skills – you can get the right people in the room, delegate and drive things to completion
  • Your communication and working preferences:
    • Thrive in the inherit ambiguity and change that comes with a growing company
    • A natural collaborator who always seeks out new perspectives, builds trusting relationships and influences without direct authority
    • Great at giving and receiving feedback across all levels of the organization, and incorporating that feedback into your work
