Manager, Provider Sales

We are looking for an accomplished and high-performing Sales Manager to lead CoverMyMeds’ strategy and customer acquisition in health system markets. Reporting to the General Manager of the Provider vertical, this role will be responsible for all efforts to identify, engage and consult prospect enterprise clients on the value of our products/services. As a manager, this role will hire, develop and lead a team of Account Executives, Inside Sales and Sales Operations associates to achieve annual and strategic objectives. What You'll Do

  • Lead and guide your team to exceed client acquisition performance expectations
  • Ensure a sufficient and predictable pipeline of new enterprise clients
  • Support accurate forecasting to help manage client onboarding and resource planning
  • Establish monthly, quarterly and annual client acquisition objectives and appropriate metrics to track performance
  • Serve in a market intelligence function by assessing competitive threats and providing feedback that continually enhances CoverMyMeds’ products/services
  • Effectively and professionally collaborate with marketing, legal, and account management teams to expedite onboarding and ensure client success
  • Grow your team through recruiting, onboarding and professional development
  • Establish, nurture and maintain partner relationships with health system customer executives
  • Maintain industry knowledge and represent CoverMyMeds as thought leader with the provider community
  • Evaluate new ways to exceed our business objectives, such as expanding our offering or developing strategic partnerships

 

About You

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, change-oriented environment. Success in the position requires a hands-on management style with an emphasis on teamwork and team development. This position is intended for a results-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership and initiative. Specific qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education in business or healthcare preferred
  • Minimum 7 years as a successful healthcare sales executive, responsible for implementing strategies and designing tactics to achieve sales objectives
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing and developing successful teams
  • Understanding of the dynamics of the healthcare industry
  • The ability to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate those concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Experience scaling teams and introducing new products/services
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Contract negotiation experience
